Welcome! Welcome to my web page, your authoritative source for information and links related to amateur nuclear fusion. Be advised that many sections of this site are still under construction. For those of you with slower connections, please allow time for the pages on this site to load completely as there are many graphics and visual aids. You may use any of my images, but please be sure to give credit to the photographer (Brian McDermott, unless otherwise mentioned). Below, you will find brief descriptions of the different sections of this site, just to give you a general idea on what this is all about. You've probably heard of fusion before, either in the news or depicted in Hollywood movies. But what exactly is it? This section details the fusion process, some of the current methods which we use to produce fusion, and even some small scale fusion experiments that you can do in your home laboratory. It should also help to dispel some of the myths surrounding the process.
Rockets have been around since the invention of black powder, but only recently have they been put to use as vehicles of spaceflight. Amateur rocketry has been around for 50 years, and through the use of new technologies, is safer and more advanced than ever. This section details the amateur rocket hobby, form the smallest store-bought kits to the most advanced homemade propulsion systems.
This section describes, in brief, the people who made this possible, as well as some of the curious people I have come to meet.

Email Feedback, Questions and Answers
I enjoy answering questions about my work and helping other people to succeed in the field of science. Ask a question, I can probably answer it. If I can't, I can point you to someone who can. I also post some of the emails I get.

This is the master list of most of the photos I have taken that are pertinent to the content of this webpage. From rocket liftoff photos to plasma discharges, the pictures are in here.

The links given here will point you to many of the relevant sites that are out there regarding amateur science. If you have a link that you think should be there, email me and let me know.
